Simlrs AS is a Norwegian company that is reestablished in 2016 to develop and implement the Simlrs technology and methods globally.

Our professional history related to process improvement in trade in general and public trade in particular, dates back to the 1990s. Simlrs delivers thorough, accurate and easy-to-understand solutions for public and private sector tendering and procurement, focusing, in phase one, on the complex and demanding healthcare sector.

PER A. SØRLIE

Chairman of the board of directors / CEO / Partner

Mr. Sørlie has over time started several IT companies in Norway and Sweden. The companies has been specialized and delivered procurement and logistics systems, as well as complete ERP systems for large commodity distributors and the public sector. Mr. Sørlie has had project assignments in the field of public procurement for health care in the Netherlands and England.

He has been hands on in designing and developing the company technology to become important building blocks in standardization projects for several industries and project areas. Food, medicin/drugs, construction products and all kinds of consumer goods to the healthcare sector are all areas in which Mr. Sørlie has contributed with standardisation skills.

Sørlie was a frequently used Key Note speaker at inter European seminars in public procurement and tendering for the health sector, often under the auspices of the EU Commission in Brussels

THOR GABRIELSEN

CTO / Partner

Mr. Gabrielsen is an experienced consultant with more than 15 years of experience in software and web solutions development, mainly in Electronic Trade, Finance, Logistics, Retail and Health care.

With his creativity, skills and general knowledge of system development and -design, combined with clarity in understanding what a user needs from a system to succeed, he is one of the cornerstones of Simlrs AS management group.

JØRGEN SØRLIE

Partner

Jørgen has 15 years of experience from several management positions within the FMCG and media industry; Clear Channel Norge AS, Dagbladet and others. He has also had his own company for several years in the field of licensing of film and entertainment products.

Jørgen has worked in industries with major digital transformations and knows how demanding digital business development can be. At Simlrs, Jørgen contributes with commercial experience and business development.

Mr Gabrielsen is an experienced consultant with more than 15 years of experience in software and web solutions development, mainly in Electronic Trading, Finance, Logistics, Retail and Health.

He is currently working out of London where he lives with his family. In recent years he has worked with the development of services in the field of Pharmacy and Health, in combination with IT security.

With his creativity and general knowledge of system development and -design, as well as clarity in understanding what a user needs from a system to succeed, he is one of the cornerstones of Simlrs AS management group.

PROJECTS DELIVERED AND IMPLMENTED BY THE SIMLRS AS TEAM
The pilot project in public procurement – DANO
DANO was a collaborative project between Norwegian public procurers to hospitals and county municipalities and their suppliers.

DANO covered the product areas: Medical consumables, Chemical technical products, Laboratory products, Office supplies, Hygiene and industrial products, Table and serving products, Office machines and Paper products.

DANO was supported by: Ministry of Health and Social Affairs, Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Local Government, Norwegian Research Council, LFH (Supplier Association for the Health Sector) and the Paper wholesalers Association.

The Norwegian Building products database
Nobb was established as the Norwegian standard information platform for construction products. The system was taken over by Norsk Byggtjeneste, which has further developed and pointed the concept to its own needs.
The food and grocery database
The Swedish Foodstuffs Agency’s overall inventory of food ingredients in food related products, sold in Sweden. The solution was originally delivered as a technology in which trade products within the various product sectors, both processed and natural products, were included.
“The Norwegian Product Database (DNP)”
– now totally incorporated into SimlrsHub

The DNP contained detailed information about actual products; all medical consumables included in the bids and purchase contracts that were established and processed during the DANO pilot project.
